Daily routines are extremely important. Which is exactly why I need to get one. My life is always all over the place. The only thing I am consistent with is my skin care. So, today I decided to share all the products I use on mi cara.

nouna sequence of actions regularly followed; a fixed program.

"My skin care routine takes me ten hours to complete."

Step 1

Steaming my face is the first step of my routine. This opens my pores and makes it easer for my face wash to access the dirt clogging them. I recommend steaming your face for 12 minutes. Be sure not to get too close to the water. Getting too close could cause a steam burn.

Step 2

The next thing I do is wash my face with Shea Moisture's black soap. I use black soap for a few different reasons. One is it is natural and not harsh on my face. Black soap also has antibacterial properties in it that can help with breakouts. It is especially great for me because it fades dark spots.

Step 3

Twice a week I scrub my face with Freeman's Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask.  I do this twice a week to make sure I am getting rid of dead skin cells. Over exfoliating your face can cause damage to your skin. Redness, dryness, and consistent stinging are all signs you have scrubbed your face too much.

Another thing I do twice a week is a face mask with Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear PoresIt only takes a quarter of the formula to cover your entire face. I normally leave the mask on for 20 minutes. This mask is great because it pulls out all the dirt that is left in my pores.

After I wash the mask off I pat it dry with a cloth. Next I spray a mixture of TN Dickinsons Witch Hazel for Face & Body and Mario Badescu's Facial Spray With Aloe, Herb and Rosewater on my baby soft face. Both of these sprays are used to seal and tone my skin. They also help with acne. Once my face is fully covered I fan it dry.

Step 6

My final step is to moisturize. I slap on The Body Shop's Seaweed Oil-Control Gel Cream. I love this moisturizer. It leaves my skin with a nice dewy finish, and a little goes a long way.

 On a busy day/night I just do step 2,4,and 6. That's all folks!
