What is this all about?

How are you? No really, how are you doing? Take a moment to evaluate how you feel right now. Are you showing up as your best self, or is something missing?

Cutting my hair was one of the most liberating things I have ever done. It unveiled a layer of myself that had never been exposed. That feeling of freedom was great, but the air of "I do what I please" did not last long. Shortly after I cut my hair I returned to my old habits of not wanting to be myself 100% of the time. I would shy away from opportunities to show my unique qualities and corks.

When I got to college I assumed that I had to lose my creativity and stifle my voice. I thought I couldn't have a personality because being a reporter meant that I had to be palatable to everyone. I was okay with not living up to my full potential until this feeling of dissatisfaction started creeping into every little thing I did. It took a long time for me to figure out what was going on. Until one day, I realized that I wasn't being myself. In that moment my whole world started to change, and that's how I got here.

Are you still with me? Cool, often times people only want to show the end result of their hard work. They hesitate to get started because they are waiting for the right time. This perfect mentality stops a lot of people from ever reaching their goals. I started MAS to show that the perfect time is when ever you speak it into existence. You can start working towards your authentic self now, there's no need to wait.

So, what is it that you’re waiting to do?
